Many members have written in asking who to vote for in the upcoming elections. The PPA is calling on its members to help create a 2006 Poker Candidate Database by doing the following:

1. Write the candidates in your local and state level elections whether or not they support an online poker exemption similar to online horse-racing betting and internet state lottery in the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act 2006 (UIGEA).

For candidate information, use any of the following tools: PPA, Vote-Smart, or Smart Voter) .

The more letters on the subject, the more importance it has to the candidate.

2. Post the un-edited response of the candidate in the PPA Member Forums in the appropriate state. This will help others in your state to decide for whom to vote.
