PPA Phone March on Capitol Hill Scheduled for Sept. 12

Your urgent action is needed! On September 12th the Poker Players Alliance with the support of leading poker blogs, magazines, and forums are organizing a “Phone March” on Capitol Hill.

From 9:00 AM Eastern Time, until 5:30 PM Eastern Time on Tuesday, September 12th, we are asking all PPA members and anyone interested in defending poker to call this toll free number, 800 and be patched through to one of your two U.S. Senators in Washington D.C.

Here are some of the many supporters of the Poker Players Alliance Phone March:

“This “phone march,” which is supported by CardPlayer.com and various other online poker publications, is an attempt to show politicians just how strong the poker community is nationwide when they consider voting for the Internet Gambling Prohibition Act, which would make all forms of onine gambling — including poker — illegal.”

PokerStars is joining with the Poker Players Alliance to give its American players the chance to tell their Senator what they think about the efforts to ban online poker.”

“Please join in by phoning your senator on Tuesday.” – Lou Krieger

“Contacting your United States Senators is vitally important. Let them know that you are strongly opposed to the Senate approving any legislation that prohibits your ability to play the great American game of poker on the Internet.” – Greg “Fossilman” Raymer
